With a German health insurance you must visit a based doctor as first step, he will then refer – if needed – to hospital. In this case you can get in touch with the relevant medical department to arrange an appointment after receiving the referral paper.
Please also be informed that with around 2500 doctors in our hospital it is not possible to pick out English speaking doctors, so you would always have to come with interpreter.
